Much better in person as I employ bright light showing all details. My camera takes (too) sharp close-up pics so any imperfections really stand out and appear more magnified than they really are. Also, some spots that might look like nicks are really just dust or glints of light reflecting back.

PLAYING MANTIS JOHNNY LIGHTNING ONLY:  WHAT IS AN “APPROVAL SAMPLE”?  As the VP and #2 guy in charge at Playing Mantis and Johnny Lightning, I was in charge of Development and Quality Control of all the diecast. Therefore, all pre-production samples had to be cleared and approved by me before mass production. The diecast pieces were usually sent to me with Factory Service Tags attached. Most pieces were assembled correctly, but VERY many had flaws in them that needed to be corrected. This is why you see SO many of my listings with FLAWS in them.
