Networking
The built-in Intel Wireless-AC 9560 adapter works flawlessly on both the
2.4 and 5 GHz bands. This Ultrabook does not have a built-in Ethernet port per
se, but it does have an “Ethernet extension connector Gen2” on the left side and
I am including the adapter into which a standard Ethernet cable can be plugged.
Refurbishing
This laptop came to me in great shape except that it had no storage drive,
so I started by installing a brand-new Samsung 1 TB NVMe SSD. As usual, I also applied a fresh coat of MX-4
thermal compound to the CPU and cleaned the computer inside and
out. After that I installed
Windows 11 25H2 Pro and all available driver and system updates from
Microsoft, Lenovo, and Intel. I then thoroughly tested the computer
including the battery and all ports and features.
Battery Notes
Most sellers on eBay do not take the time to check batteries, but I
always do a full rundown test to make sure they are in good condition before I
offer a laptop for sale. The battery in
this computer still holds over 85% of its original design capacity, and when
fully charged will run it for about 10 hours (depending on use of course).
For sake of completeness
This laptop is not new and does show some very minor signs of prior
use: It has some minor scuffs and marks on the exterior case, but
these things are all minor and cosmetic only and do not affect performance in
