Antique French Art Nouveau mantel clock, circa 1895–1905. Heavy cast spelter (zinc) case with flowing Nouveau lines, floral details, and an oval relief of a classical female figure. Case is marked “PAT. PEND. 268”, indicating a patented design in the pending stage and original factory production.

Clock face with Roman numerals, original glass, and steel hands. The metal bezel surrounding the clock face is slightly bent, as shown in photos. The clock face is wavy around the edges; you may want to change it, though this is difficult to notice if the clock is used for decorative display. Original surface shows expected wear, rubbed high points, and finish loss consistent with age and material.

Movement ticks only at certain angles and does not run reliably. Sold AS-IS for parts or repair. No evidence of later marriage or modern replacement parts.
