• Vintage beautiful black 1939 Smith Corona 4 bank Standard Portable typewriter. Serial number 2C208257 in very nice cosmetic and operational condition with beautiful black textured enamel finish with single tuxedo stripe. Beautiful black key board and chrome rings in very good condition. Very few blemishes. Graphics and chrome are very good. The keys strike and return and carriage advances well as you type. The original platen, paper feed, feet, back space, margin release are in good working condition and the ribbon feed, new ribbon, and bell work well. The keyboard is very nice and clean as is the typewriter. Cleaned and serviced. Types very nice. Pica. The hard case is in very good condition also. Very nice cosmetically and operationally. The line space on the return is touchy and wants to double space. Just need to keep an eye on it. The typewriter measures 13” x 12 1/2” x 5 1/2” case measures 14 1/2” x 13 1/2” x 6 ”.
