📖 Synopsis

Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy manga that unfolds through two connected storylines.

Volume 0 (Prequel) follows Yuta Okkotsu, a grief-stricken teenager haunted by the cursed spirit of his childhood friend, Rika. Under the guidance of Satoru Gojo, Yuta learns to control his overwhelming power, ultimately freeing Rika and beginning his path as a Jujutsu Sorcerer.

The main series centers on Yuji Itadori, an ordinary high school student who becomes the vessel of the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, after consuming a cursed object to save his friends. Enrolled at Tokyo Jujutsu High, Yuji trains alongside Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki under Gojo’s mentorship.

As the story progresses, the stakes escalate—from cursed spirits and Death Paintings to the devastating Shibuya Incident, where Gojo is sealed and the sorcery world descends into chaos. This leads to the Culling Game, a deadly ritual orchestrated by Kenjaku to harvest cursed energy across Japan.

In the final arc, alliances are tested as Yuji and his comrades confront Sukuna in an all-out war. The series concludes in Volume 30 with epilogues that provide emotional closure, showing the survivors moving forward and the legacy of Jujutsu sorcery reshaped after immense sacrifice.
