The 1867 YB Peru 1/2 Sol coin is a valuable piece of South American numismatic history. Minted in Lima in 1867, this silver coin has a fineness of .4, making it a solid piece of currency. Despite being uncertified, this coin holds historical significance and is a coveted collector's item for those interested in Peruvian coins. Its rarity and unique design make it a valuable addition to any coin collection.
Grading is extremely subjective so what I say is in question. The thing here is, the age. I cannot find another in any grade so rarity here is high even though many were minted, it seems that most were melted the last two times silver went to $50. Others, due to it being so desirable, are hiding in collections and not likely to come out unless the owner gets old, (Which is exactly why I'm letting go of my entire collection.
Sad to break up the family, so if you get it, give her a good home.
