This wonderful Santa has a furry beard and a candlestick mustache made out of ceramic. He has quite a big belly and a wonderful grin!! He is holding a gift that is cold painted. The rest of the piece was hand decorated and then glossed. On the bottom he has a paper label that states "Japan". Also on the bottom is the original price? done in china marker of "1.00". Santa has four round, felt cushions on the bottom to protect the table. He is 8-1/2" tall x 4.25" wide x approximately 3-7/8" deep. Santa is from the 1950s.

When Santa was made there was a drip of paint that is pre glaze that you can see in picture #5. It hides under his hat tip. Santa is also crazed. He does not have any chips or cracks. Please see the pictures. They help with the description. My price reflects the condition.
