Mother of Pearl Black Lacquerware Box Korean Inlaid Intricate Design Cha-gae Box
-Paper included reads ' Cha-gae' is a Korean language of their own for inlaying, as they use 'Na-chun" (mother-of-pearl) commonly in Korean, China and Japan. Earlier time it was imported, white luminous shell had been the mostly using material. but the rind of abalone with diverse color separation became the chief material afterward in Korea. As Korean lacquerer is an oriental craft superior in quality and inlaying skill, it is the very gift for newly married couples , superiors and foreigners.
