Our Comic Grading Standards

We grade raw comic books strictly and conservatively using standard Overstreet guidelines. Please check individual item photos closely for specific wear details:

• Near Mint (NM | 9.2 - 9.8): High-grade, beautiful condition. Sharp corners, tight spine with almost no stress lines, bright colors, and crisp pages. Looks like it just came off the spinner rack.
• Very Fine (VF | 7.5 - 9.0): Excellent preservation. Minimal handling wear, a few tiny spine stress lines, or very minor corner blunting. Clean, glossy, and highly collectible.
• Fine (FN | 5.5 - 7.0): An above-average book that has been read carefully. Shows slight surface wear, accumulative minor spine ticks, or small cover creases, but retains clean overall eye appeal.
• Very Good (VG | 3.0 - 5.0): Above average, but obviously used copy. Minor to moderate cover wear, creasing, or minor spine roll/staple tears are present, but retains great vintage charm.
• Good (GD | 0.5 - 2.5): Used with substantial wear, obviously read. May show dulling, staining, page yellowing, or spine splits. Affordable, complete filler copies with full reading value.
