ABOUT THE ARTIST
John Horsewell (born 1956) is a contemporary British landscape artist whose paintings are admired for their gentle colours, expressive brushwork and atmospheric light. Raised on the London–Essex border in a family of artists, he began painting early and went on to develop a style strongly associated with tranquil countryside and coastal views. His landscapes and seascapes have been shown in galleries throughout the UK and are held in private collections both here and abroad.
