This is a vintage original Butterick Fashions Spring 1914 pattern advertising quarterly. It is marvelous, but sadly missing its cover. It features some amazing sewing pattern fashion illustrations and articles. This quarterly is one of the white whales of sewing quarterlies as fashion books for pattern companies from this time period are extremely scarce. This edition is composed of 112 large format pages of beautifully illustrated fashion designs, photographs, and 2 full-color pages plus several partial color shaded pages. The majority of the content is pattern illustrations. Every page is worthy of a picture frame. Measurements: 12" wide and 16" tall. Condition: The outer is rough but the remainder is quite strong, with light wear and a bit of discoloration to outside cover page edges. The original staples were rusting so I have removed them to protect the paper. 2 outer loose pages have very worn edges and the original front and back cover pages are missing (likely removed to be framed, sadly). The American Lady Corsets page is badly torn in places and I have made a few tiny repairs to the back side.
