Sasha dolls were starting to be made in the 1960’s by Sasha Marganthaler. They became very popular and at the start of 1970’s were added Gregor and the baby Sasha.
The design of the doll and the fashions encapsulated the seventies and although quite expensive, became a icon of the times.
When Sasha Morganthaler died she left her collection to Zurich where they have dedicated a museum to her designs.
