Overview
Dual-Element Longitudinal Angle Probes
The dual-element longitudinal angle probe uses two separate elements for transmitting and receiving, generating refracted longitudinal waves in the workpiece and providing a certain focal length.
Performance characteristics
Not affected by initial pulse blind zone.
It generates low grain scattering noise, improving the signal-to-noise ratio
when inspecting highly attenuative and highly scattering materials.
Highly sensitive to reflectors within the focal zone.
Application
Suitable for inspection in fields such as nuclear power, austenitic stainless
steel, high attenuation materials, near-surface defects, and weld defects.
