A solid silver 19^th C Portuguese toothpick holder, Atlas and the world, Oporto c.1843-53

Only 3/4 marks, the City mark, P, c.1843-53 according to Tardy, clashing with

the assay scrape, the maker’s mark FDG(?), and another unrecognised, all pictured.

Wonderful casting of Atlas carrying our problems.

Great patina.

In very good antique condition.
