was a genre of fiction printed on cheap wood-pulp paper. It was written by workaday writers of sensational stories favoured by a mass audience. They were short books that could be read quickly as a distraction and they sold cheaply. The most successful authors sold in vast quantities, often outselling literary authors by orders of magnitude. Once read, they were chucked away to be re-pupled into more pulp fiction.
So please bear in mind, these books were cheap and the print quality was not the best, to say the least. Our posters are just reproductions of these covers, including all the flaws, like bad colour reproduction, bad colour registration and the coarseness of the print
