El coche consume combustible, los sospechosos pueden escapar y el tráfico reacciona a tus movimientos. Su combinación de simulación, acción y libertad total marcó un antes y un después en los juegos de conducción.
A día de hoy sigue siendo considerado uno de los títulos más adelantados de la era de 8 bits.

Turbo Esprit revolutionised the ZX Spectrum by introducing a fully navigable urban environment, complete with independent traffic, real intersections, traffic jams and unpredictable escape routes. You drive a Lotus Turbo Esprit, equipped with special technology, while patrolling the streets in search of criminals attempting to carry out a major drug operation.
The city works as a true sandbox: you decide where to drive, when to intervene and how to cut off the suspects’ escape routes. Your car consumes fuel, criminals can flee, and traffic reacts dynamically to your actions. Its combination of simulation, action and total freedom marked a turning point in the history of driving games.
Even today, it is still regarded as one of the most forward-thinking titles of the 8-bit era.
