A leather bound copy of 'Key to the Wildfowl of the World' by Peter Scott. SIGNED BY PETER SCOTT WITH INSCRIPTION on title page - 'Inscribed for Richard by Peter Scott' . Scott was the founder of the WWF and the Wildfowl Trust, and was of course the only son of the legendary explorer Robert Falcon Scott, who died in 1912 during an ill-fated Antarctic expedition. Revised 1972 coloured edition of Peter Scott's most famous book is beautifully bound in black leather with bright gilt trimming, there is some superficial wear to the leather, a few light scratches and a few spots, mostly on the back cover, pages edges have some marks. A little yellowing to margins of front and rear paste downs and free ends, the pages are clean- minor yellowing to margins, the illustrations colourful and the binding is tight. The book is 22 cm by 14.4cm, 96 pages.
