Maika Mustang Bass, a signature bass from bassist Maika, is a groundbreaking model featuring a 30-inch scale Mustang Bass with two Jazz Bass pickups. Based on the standard single-coil Mustang Bass, the pickups are positioned slightly closer to the neck to capture the sound at the point of greatest string vibration. This bass expresses a more Jazz Bass-like character, delivering a rich low end that's hard to imagine given its small size. The matching headstock is finished in Aged Natural. The Aged Peraloid pickguard complements the body color perfectly, creating a subdued, vintage feel that echoes the sound. Tuning machines with small pegs are used to achieve overall weight balance.
