Ukiyo-e Uchida Atelier Woodblock Print Cherry & Omuro Pagoda by Benji Asada

One of six prints offered and certified by the Collectors Guild Ltd (I have four of them listed now). This is stamped on the back 'N154' indicating series and number.

"A striking example of the Oriental laws of perspective weaving their illusions upon us. The right-hand trees are actually in front of the pagoda, but the infinitely complex relationship of size between overhanging boughs, pagoda and trees cause us to see them as receding into the background. Early Impressionists adopted the Japanese flatness of color and form - shown in the exquisitely detailed cherry tree."

Measures (outside of frame) approximately 16.5 inches wide by 22.5 inches tall. The frame is the original in very good condition with minor scratches, and the print is in excellent condition.

Please see the photographs for the best description and should you have any questions, I would be happy to help. Thank you for looking!
