Wafer paper is slightly transparent and does not offer the same vibrant colours as an icing sheet. Colours may appear less vivid than what you see on your screen. These images are best used with white buttercream or fondant. The wafer paper will not dissolve into the icing, but it may curl or wrinkle if refrigerated or placed on moist cakes. Avoid contact with water as wafer paper will dissolve if exposed.
