Vintage B&W advertising/marketing photo of the McDonnell Douglas MD-83.

The MD-83 is a twin-engine, short-to-medium-range jet airliner from the McDonnell Douglas MD-80 series, and a derivative of the DC-9. It first entered service in 1985 and features a longer fuselage, greater fuel capacity, and more powerful engines compared to earlier models. While it is largely retired from passenger service, some MD-83s still fly with smaller airlines or are used for private and executive travel due to their spacious interiors and reliable performance

Likely used as a promotional/marketing piece.
