Antique Sitzendorf Porcelain Figural Candelabrum – Eastern Slavic Peasants, c. 1884-1902

This striking antique porcelain figural candelabrum depicts a pair of peasants in traditional Eastern Slavic attire. The woman is shown warming her hands over a lantern, while the man rests beside her on a sled. The scene is rendered with remarkable detail, from the textures of their garments to the finely painted features, demonstrating the exceptional skill of German porcelain craftsmanship.

Marked for Sitzendorf Porcelain, this piece was produced by the Sitzendorfer Porzellanmanufaktur, founded by Wilhelm Liebmann in 1850.
