The Mokume material is composed of three metals layered patterns as seen in the photos. It consists of copper, brass, and cupronickel.

Patina can be removed with simple hand polishing by the buyer. Patina may rub off on your fingers causing temporary discoloration and copper or brass may turn certain peoples skin colors such as gray or green. There are no returns due to this as it is normal and could be expected. Know if your body chemistry reacts with metals before purchase. Due to reactions with certain skin oils metal may have an odor. This is normal and should be expected for some people.
