| NM-MT 8: Near Mint-Mint | A card with a few minor stains on the back, a small scuff on one or two corners, or a minor printing defect. Centering is 70/30 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back. |
| NM 7: Near Mint | A card with minor signs of wear. Corners may be scuffed, the focus may be slightly off, there may be light printing scratches, or there may be a small stain on the back. Centering is 75/25 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back. |
| EX-MT 6: Excellent-Mint | The card has surface wear and printing defects that do not detract from the overall card's appeal. There may be slight nicks on the edges or the border may not be completely white. Centering is 80/20 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back. |
| EX 5: Excellent | Slight corner wear is evident. There are some light scratches that do not detract from the overall card's appeal. The border may not be completely white. Centering is 85/15 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back. |
| VG-EX 4: Very Good-Excellent | Corner wear is evident. Surface wear is noticeable but not too severe. Light scuffs and scratches are visible. The border has lost some of its whiteness. There are light wrinkles. Centering is 85/15 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back. |
| VG 3: Very Good | There is obvious surface wear, such as corner wear and light scuffs and scratches. The focus is slightly off. There is also noticeable wear to the edges. The border is slightly yellowed and discolored. Centering is 90/10 or better on both sides. |
| GOOD 2: Good | There is corner wear, surface scuffs, scratches, light stains, or missing polish. There are also some wrinkles. There is considerable discoloration. Centering is 90/10 or better on both sides. |
| PR-FR 1: Poor to Fair | The corners are extremely worn, even down to the picture borders. The surface shows advanced wear, with scuffs, scratches, dents, chips, and stains. The card is significantly out of focus and badly wrinkled. Parts of the card are missing, and the card shows significant creasing, severe discoloration or staining, and warping or twisting. Centering is 90/10 or better on both the front and back. |
