"The Commies Are Coming!" is a VHS documentary featuring Dragnet's Jack Webb.  and early Rhino studio production. The film covers a historical conspiracy theory about communist infiltration, presented in English language. This unique and captivating VHS tape offers a glimpse into The Red Scare and the Senate Investigation Hearings of the early 50's. At the time, "Communist" was a catch-all Bogeyman name that was easy to claim but impossible to disprove, and was used by the government and its allies in business to persecute and "purify" the American way of thinking. Careers were ruined, artists persecuted, names named, families ruined, fortunes stolen, violence encited; and the entire thing was nothing more than antisemitic, anti-left-of-center, and an anti-labor grab for right-wing dominance. This was the 1950's...
