Glass plates of type PI are designed for checking by interference methods of

grinding and flatness of measuring planes of plane-parallel end measures

of length, gauges, measuring instruments and tools. Plates are widely

used in the tool industry, in machine tools, instrument making,

mechanical engineering and many other industries. Plates are available

in two types: lower and upper. The lower (support) plates are used to

check the grinding and flatness of the measuring surfaces of the end

measures of length, gauges, measuring instruments and tools. The upper

plates are used to measure plane-parallel end measures of length by the

technical interference method. The lower plates are available in

diameters of 60, 80, 100 and 120 mm. Plate material - glass grade K8.
