Helix conductor 30 degree mount (it is actually a 120 degree mount since it is 30 degrees from the origin or 120 degrees from the mounting plane.) . can mount it standing up or you can utilize the additional 30 degrees on surfaces like steering columns to get the more ergonomic friendly mounting configuration. . Made of carbon fiber infused filament that is then heat treated, this can withstand hot car environments just fine and I have tested it up to 102 degrees F. Very strong design . Comes with (1) conductor mount (2) flushed head screws since this mount features hidden mounts for a truly hidden finish Note : The hidden design means that the screw holes are on the back and you fasten it to the panel you are securing it to where the screw head sandwiches the mounting surface to the surface area of the mount to provide a “hidden” look where no screws or screw holes will be seen from the viewing angle. . This was prototyped with the help of a member of DIYMA and I optimized the cross sectional area to improve resistant to crack propagations as well as finding the correct shaping that is compact enough for a lot of car interiors. . I have also went ahead and thermal shock cycle tested this design and filament from 0 deg F to 180 deg F. No cracks or surface defects formed from the test. .
