The Vintage Singer Spartan Model Sewing Machine is a rare find for collectors of industrial sewing machines. This black machine, with its built-in features and pedal operation, hails from Great Britain and is a vintage original from the Simanco RFJ9-8 product line. While it is in need of a belt to run, the mechanics turn freely all around, it still holds value for those looking to appreciate the craftsmanship and history of Singer sewing machines. This was my mom’s sewing machine that she owned forever (since I can remember and I’m 73). It’s been sitting in a hall closet for the past 30+ years untouched (long enough for the belt to become useless). It has all four original feet and sits level and stable. It was threaded and working when put up. No reason to think it needs more than a belt to start working again. Thanks for looking! And yes, the bobbin is installed.
