Heres the story- I was starting a Van conversion business and bought this new with intent of building it out into one of the worlds best Sprinter conversions - I prototyped parts, got patents etc... spent a ton of money and time. This was going to be our Demo vehicle for shows etc. It has been in my shop along w another Sprinter I bought for the same purpose.
It is brand new, I ordered in Laguna Beach, CA and they drove it down to the dealership putting about 80 miles on it... the other 80 miles are from me starting vehicle and driving around the block to keep the van in tip top condition.
I BOUGHT THE 5YR EXTENDED WARRANTY w 100,000k miles!!
YOU CAN NOT BUY A DIESEL V6 ANYMORE! THIS WAS MERCEDES FLAGSHIP MOTOR AND THESE RUN FOR 500,000+ WITH DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE YOU CAN LOOK UP ANYWHERE ON THE INTERNET- ITS AN INCREDIBLE MOTOR- MERCEDES SHOULD NOT HAVE GONE TO THE 4 CYL ON THEIR NEW VANS- THEY WILL BE TOO BURDENED BY SUCH A LARGE VEHICLE ESPECIALLY IF YOU BUILD IT OUT W EXTRA WEIGHT- THESE MOTORS YOU WILL FIND (4 CYL) WILL DIE QUICKLY....THE V6 WILL GO FOREVER AS ALREADY PROVED.
FURTHER- THIS IS A REAL 4X4 - NOT AWD LIKE NEW VANS. IF YOU REALLY WANT ADAPTABILITY, POWER AND ULTIMATE TRACTION - THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO.
I bought this with intention as they already had the 2023's on the lot and I knew this was the last chance to get a bullet proof, high power true 4x4 - the very last group Mercedes ever made!!
If you know what I am saying, your on the right side of things.
I dont think you will get another chance to get a new REAL 4x4 V6 diesel....
Im taking a loss and including my receipt of $82,000 paid in cash for this - also the long list of upgrades etc - I spared no expense. Not only that- everyone is in love with this color blue - its drop dead gorgeous!
