NTE Electronics NTE559 Rectifier - Tripler
Silicon TV High Voltage, New
A 5-step tripotential silicon tripler is a
high-voltage multiplier circuit that uses five stages, diodes, and capacitors
to generate a DC output voltage that is roughly three times the peak input AC
voltage. It is a type of voltage multiplier designed to produce very
high DC voltages at low currents without a heavy, expensive high-voltage
transformer. Based upon the Villard doubler, cascaded in multiple stages,
this circuit will multiply a small AC voltage into a huge potential.
