A kokeshi doll by Ryoka Aoki called “Hinagiku (Daisy)”.
This Kokeshi doll is also displayed in the Emperor's Palace in Japan and was purchased by the previous Empress when she saw it on a trip and liked it.
Since then, it has become very popular in Japan, and many people decorated their houses with the same kokeshi at that time.
Although there are minor scratches and dents on the ribbon and back of the head, the doll is in good enough condition to be displayed and enjoyed.
