US Electric Vehicle Compatibility

Therefore, Tesla owners can readily use this charger with the provided adapter.

It is important to note that the automotive industry is currently in a period of transition regarding charging standards. While the SAE J1772 has been the long-standing universal connector, many automakers have announced plans to adopt the NACS connector in their future vehicles, starting around 2025. For the foreseeable future, however, the J1772 connector will remain prevalent, and adapters are expected to be widely available.
