Another curated piece I picked up from an estate. This is part of the infamous Donald Dickey’s gold stash.

He would stash gold in the rafters of his house , mostly gold nuggets. After his passing the gold was discovered and showed up on auction blocks.

I purchased a lot of nuggets of crystallized gold and this caught my attention.

This coin is over 100 years old. Just imagine, how many stories, happy experiences and even sad ones this coin has passed through.

More importantly , imagine how many decades it sat in the rafters waiting to be discovered.
