Maria F1 is an ultra-early hybrid of a self-pollinating gherkin cucumber.
This plant has vigorous growth and good foliage. Maria F1 cucumbers have a strong structure and large leaf mass, making them stress-resistant. The fruits of this hybrid are cylindrical, 8-10 cm long, dark green, and have prominent spines. They have excellent flavor and are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and pickling. The growing season is 39-41 days. Each internode produces 2-3 dark green fruits. The fruit is 8-10 cm long, 2.2-2.5 cm in diameter, and weighs 60-80 g.
The Maria F1 hybrid is highly resistant to stress and fungal diseases, ensuring long-term fruiting. It is ideal for growing outdoors in the spring and summer. Maria F1 is resistant to powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, and vascular yellowing virus. This hybrid can be grown both outdoors and in plastic greenhouses.
