Here is a system Dell sold as a business PC in late 1996 or early 1997.  This month I wiped and tested the hard drive, added a sound card, replaced the CD ROM, CMOS battery and floppy drive. I installed WIndows 98SE with all necessary drivers.  It is now ready to install your favorite applications, from floppy diskette or CD.

This is a slim case with a few scratches on the case top, but nothing bent or missing.  There are no free drive bays.  The original power supply is 145W.

The motherboard has a single expansion slot for a riser card, which proves three slots.  I added a Creative Sound Blaster Live! CT4830 to the middle slot, leaving one ISA slot and one PCI slot free.  The motherboard's socket 7 has a 166MHz Pentium Processor with MMX instructions installed.  There are four 72-pin SIMM sockets, each of which has an 8MB EDO SIMM, upgradeable to a maximum of 128MB RAM.   The onboard graphics processor is an S3 Trio 64V+ with 1MB RAM, upgradeable to 2MB.

The motherboard includes connectors for two PS/2 ports, a parallel port and two serial ports -- but no ethernet or USB.
