This rare vintage Bakelite beaded necklace was constructed by stringing graduated cube shaped beads into this funky cool necklace. There is a 1" and 1/2" chocolate brown beads; and 5/8" butterscotch and Kelly green cube beads. Small round black plastic beads separate the cube beads. 

The necklace measures 23 inches in length and weighs a super chunky 186 grams. The unique choice of bead shapes and their earth-tone colors gives the necklace a funky unique and timeless charm, making it a great addition to any vintage or antique jewelry collection. 

The necklace has a spring loaded circle type clasp (See photo #6) that works perfectly and stays closed when the necklace is being worn. The each of the three colored cubes used in the necklace tested positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #8)
