This is a very old, very cool wire-wrapped bottle. Featuring an aqua glass demijohn with cork and intricate wire work throughout, this piece is unusual and more than a little interesting. Possibly nautical, the wire is still taught and sturdy, including the wire handle. The bottle shows wear as you might expect and some rest spots from the wire. There is a crack around the neck of the bottle as pictured, and a partial cork.
Antique wire-wrapped bottle measures 14" tall and about 5" in diameter across the bottom.
This piece has a fabulous industrial or nautical look and is perfect for display. You could also remove the remaining cork and use to showcase feathers, flowers or the like. It's a very cool old bottle with lots of visual appeal!
