FUI: Dendritic agate in India is typically found and mined in the states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The process is similar to other agate mining, involving surface or near-surface extraction from geological deposits using manual labor and basic tools, like digging and chipping, rather than large-scale industrial mining operations. The rough stones are then excavated, often by hand, and sorted to find those with the most interesting dendritic patterns
