Very rare promotional brochure for the Nikon SP rangefinder 35mm film camera with an overview of all camera and system features, a list of accessories, specifications and prices.
The Nikon SP was a professional level, interchangeable lens, 35 mm film, rangefinder camera introduced in 1957. It was the culmination of Nikon's rangefinder development which started in 1948 with the Nikon I, and was arguably the most advanced rangefinder of its time. The Nikon SP is famously seen on the cover of Bob Dylan’s 1965 landmark album "Highway 61 Revisited", casually slung from the hand of Bob Neuwirth who stands behind Bob Dylan. Celebrate that heritage with this rare promotional brochure.
