This is "Die Entstehung und bisherige Entwicklung der Quantentheorie (The Origin and Development of the Quantum Theory)" by Max Planck, given as his address in acceptance of the Nobel Prize in Physics on June 2, 1920, in a second printing from 1922, published by Johann Ambrosius Barth. Text is in German. This 32-page pamphlet is bound with a black tape. 

Also included is a first edition, fourth printing of "Vorlesungen ueber die Theorie der Waermestrahlung" by Max Planck, published by the same firm in 1921. This book is in Very Good condition, showing some fading to the upper spine. Laid in is a note in German, listing some changes made to the fifth printing.
