This striking antique amber glass bottle dating from the 1880s to early 1900s, featuring a tooled finish and "P.R.4" embossed on the base. The bottle was mouth-blown in a mold (BIM) and finished by hand, making it a great example of transitional glass production before full machine automation.

The amber glass was often used for medicine, tonic, or apothecary purposes, and the "P.R.4" embossing is most likely a glasshouse  or mold code, adding to its historic character. Bottles with unusual base markings like this are desirable because they represent smaller production runs and regional glassmaking practices.
