From Explore Charleston:
Michael Krajewski and Justice Littlejohn have joined together to create pieces that work together synergistically and in harmony, doing more than just “meeting in the middle” to create their collaborative pieces. They have been “collabin,” as said by Littlejohn, for more than two years. Their distinct style has been referred to as “organized chaos” leaving their collaboration a marriage of innovation and the unexplainable.
Michael Krajewski is a self taught artist of Chinese and Polish heritage. Through his art, Krajewski seeks to portray and evoke strong emotions which mirror passions in his own life. He is in favor of the words “radical evolution” when speaking of his work. He says, “My work is about sharing intimacy and being spontaneous at times.”
Justice Littlejohn is a graduate of Wofford College with a MAT in art education from USC. He has also studied at Western Carolina University’s intensive summer MFA program with a number of national artists. He has taught in Columbia, S.C., public schools, and his work has been exhibited in galleries there as well as Atlanta, Charleston, Asheville and New Mexico. He currently resides in Greenville, S.C. The artist describes his work as “impulsive, spontaneous, and full of energy, yet contemplative.”
