This ceramic mouse with leather string tail was an early product from Joshua Tree, California artist, Howard Pierce. In fact, it may have dated from when he resided in Claremont, California in the 1940s and '50s. Standing 3.5 inches tall, this mouse is glazed in a glossy grey and white with airbrushed dark brown accents. The design is very much in line with Pierce's modern, stripped down aesthetic. Pierce designed a small hole in the mouse's rear for a leather tail, quite cute! This little charmer is in Very Good condition with no crazing chips and cracks. There is some debris on the inside walls. Stamped "Howard Pierce Porcelain" on the underside. Will ship via USPS Ground Advantage or Priority in a well-packed box. Thank you for looking.
