FORD 6006E RADIO REPAIR / REPLACEMENT SERVICE WITH AUX IN / MP3 UPGRADE

NB Sorry but I am unable to provide this service for 6006Es showing the CD Err4 error code. If I'm sent a radio showing this error code I will return it without any modifications and refund the purchase price minus my return shipping costs. CD Err4 indicates that the laser in the CD player is faulty and I'm no longer able to fix that fault. Please see my other items for refurbished 6006Es.

I can repair and add the Aux In / MP3 upgrade to your faulty 6006E radio very quickly by putting your front onto a 6006E that I’ve previously refurbished, upgraded and extensively tested. I would drill a small hole near the volume control to add the Aux In socket, see photos.

The MP3 upgrade provides an external input socket to the right of the volume control for convenient connection of MP3 players, including iPhones and iPods. Simply select an AM radio channel and plug in the MP3 player. The sound is controlled by the volume and tone controls on the radio in the normal way and the quality is very high, on par with the CD playback. The fact that the playback is in mono is barely noticeable.

Comes with a handy 0.9m cable as shown in the photos.

This is how the service operates:

1.   You purchase the service and I will send you my name and address.

2.   You then send me your faulty 6006E radio along with your name, address and eBay name so that I’ll know where it came from.

3.   Within 4 days of its arrival I will swap the front from your faulty radio onto a 6006E that I've previously refurbished and thoroughly tested and send it back to you using the Evri 3 to 5 day delivery service.
