Complete sail sets for Le Soleil Royal 1:100 (Heller). Available in three versions:

• Standard sails – 14 sails
• Standard + Studding sails – 22 sails
• Furling-ready sails – 14 sails (reduced cut for neat furling)

A) Standard sails (14 pcs)

• Material: 100% cotton, weight 125 g/m², pre-washed
• Contents: 9 yard sails, 1 mizzen lateen sail, 4 stay sails
• Manufacture: CNC sewn, hand cut and finished

The sails are based on historical plans and sewn with details corresponding to continental practice of the 17th–18th centuries, following J. Boudriot’s book “Le Trois-Ponts du Chevalier de Tourville 1680”.

Details:

• Head curve wider than sides/foot; exceptions for fore course, main course, and topsails
• Buntline cloths sewn from foot upward at buntline rope positions
• Reinforcements at reef points (reef bands)
• Corner strengthening on topgallants, spritsails, topsails and small sails
• Mast cloths (backs of topsails) to prevent wear at mast tops
• Staysails and jibs reinforced at corners on starboard side (seen from stern)

B) Standard + Studding sails (22 pcs)

• Material: 100% cotton, weight 125 g/m², pre-washed
• Contents: 14 standard sails + 8 studding sails
• Manufacture: CNC sewn, hand cut and finished

Adds 8 studding sails to the standard set. Based on historical ship plans, with appropriate reinforcements, corners, rope casings and reef bands. Studding sails allow modeling the extended sail configuration of the Soleil Royal.

C) Furling-ready sails (14 pcs, reduced cut)

• Material: 100% cotton, weight 125 g/m², pre-washed
• Contents: same 14 sails as standard set, reduced size
• Manufacture: CNC sewn, hand cut and finished

Reduced-size sails designed for realistic imitation of furled sails. The smaller cut prevents bulky cloth packs on the yards or stays, while preserving authentic sewing details: reef points, strengthened leeches, corners and casings remain visible even when sails are partly or fully furled.
