Barrelbrite is a burnishing powder, used with steel/stainless steel shot in a barrel tumbling machine to deburr or prepolish precious & base metals. It acts as a lubricant between the work components & the tumbling medium. Use with steel shot to achieve a polished finish on all jewellery items in conventional rotary barrels It also helps to keep the tumbling medium in good condition Mix 20 grams of powder per litre (If you do not have weighing scale it is about 1 Teaspoon to your small barrel) Do not add too much barrelling compund otherwise you will start to gets lots of froth coming out of your barrel when you start to use it. This is the new barrelling compound which does not contain Dichromate as previous old barrelling compounds which is harmful.
