Punch cartoons were published weekly in England, with this book collection curated specifically for Americans.  Punch often poked fun at Americans.  Many of the WWII generation, including my father, spent time in England during WWII and enjoyed the British humor.  This is Book of the Month Club edition.  Book does show some damage around the edges of the dust cover.  The spine of the dust cover and pages are showing yellowing from age.  Published 1952.  Ask any questions!  Shipped in a water resistant bubble mailer.
