Starvengers, one of the five shows adapted for Jim Terry’s Force Five, was the U.S. version of the Japanese anime Getter Robo G. The series follows three daring pilots—Getter-1, Getter-2, and Getter-3—who can combine their spacecraft into different robot forms to battle invading enemies. In the U.S. adaptation, they defend Earth against the forces of Emperor Thor and his evil empire.
