Rare and beautiful antique French bisque head doll marked UNIS FRANCE 71 149 30 , circa early 20th century.
This large doll stands approximately 25 inches tall and features a composition jointed wood body with original finish and wear consistent with age. She has a bisque head with lovely painted features, sleepy blue eyes with lashes, original brunette wig in braids, and an open mouth with teeth.

Original mohair wig, brunette, styled in braids.
Jointed composite wood body, all original.
Period style pink cotton dress with buttons and lace, white socks.

Condition:
Bisque head is in very good antique condition, no cracks or hairlines.
Body shows age wear, paint loss, minor chips/scrapes (see photos).Some wear to hands and composition finish typical for age.
Sleep eyes mechanism works, some lash loss.
