Up for bid is a small Middle Eastern, possibly Indian Mughal,
silver bud vase, as found. The vase is 3
7/8 inches tall by 1 7/8 inches in diameter at the base and weighs 35
grams. It has a three-lobed flared vase
body at a flat foot with a small vertical edge.
It is nicely engraved, with a person on each of the lobes surrounded by
vines and geometric patterns. The piece
is not monogrammed. There are no visible
marks.
Condition on the piece is fair. The top leans a bit, and there is a small
crack and edge rollover on the rim. The
base is wavy as well. Still a decent old
piece of Indian silver!
